In comparison with private households, large installations operate with considerably more powerful heating systems. Solar installations are generally incorporated in the heating circuit using one or more corresponding buffer storage cylinders.

Schuco offers fresh water stations in apartment buildings for supplying individual apartments with domestic hot water. If energy for heating is also to be supplied decentrally, domestic hot water stations are used.
